Packing
Four nights · August in the Mojave
See Weather for the live forecast plus what to wear and what to carry each day. This page is the suitcase; that one is the day bag.
Context: daytime highs well over 100°F, nights staying in the 80s, and very low humidity. Indoors is aggressively air conditioned. You will be too hot outside and mildly cold inside, all day, every day.

Check Sphere's bag policy before Saturday. Large venues restrict bag size, and being turned away at the door to go stash something is a miserable way to start the night.
Leave at home
Heavy jackets, anything you would be upset to lose, and more shoes than you will wear. Four nights does not need a large bag, and the return flight is Sunday morning with an early start.
